Valero Texas Open Tournament Statement
The PGA TOUR announced that due to the ongoing health crisis, events starting with the second round at THE PLAYERS Championship through AT&T Byron Nelson have been cancelled.
As such, the Valero Texas Open professional competition along with all other tournament week activities have been cancelled.
The health and safety of our fans, players, sponsors, volunteers and community-at-large remains our top priority.
The tournament is prepared to refund registration fees to all volunteers. Please let us know of your request to refund no later than Monday, April 13, 2020 by 9 am CT. To process your reimbursement, please contact Volunteers@ValeroTexasOpen.com.
For those who would like to forego the refund, we will utilize the funds to support the tournament’s charitable initiatives and nothing further is required of you. After April 13, all fees will become a donation to the tournament.
We know we have the best volunteers on the PGA TOUR and are so appreciative of your dedication to the Valero Texas Open. While these are difficult times, we are strengthened by the fact that we have so many volunteers who are supportive of the event.
Thank you all for your continued support and hope to see all of you in 2021.
