Hospitality Tickets on Sale Starting Today
SAN ANTONIO, TX — Tournament officials announced today the first of several early player commitments for the 104th anniversary of the Valero Texas Open. 2025 Champion, Brian Harman is set to defend his title against a 132-man field that will include World No. 3 and 2025 season-long PGA TOUR FedExCup Champion Tommy Fleetwood, World No. 7, reigning U.S. Open Champion and 2022 Valero Texas Open Champion, J.J. Spaun, World No. 10 Justin Rose and World No. 18 Collin Morikawa.
San Antonio’s historical PGA TOUR event returns this spring to TPC San Antonio’s The Oaks course for the 17th year, March 30-April 5, a week preceding the Masters Tournament. The final round of the tournament will fall on Easter Sunday.
Fleetwood, last season’s FedExCup champion, will be making his third consecutive appearance at San Antonio’s PGA TOUR-stop with his best finish of T7 coming in 2024. This past August, the winner of nine international tournaments won the TOUR Championship for his first career TOUR win before leading Team Europe to a Ryder Cup victory over the U.S., with an impressive 4-1 record.
Spaun, who is coming off the best season of his career thus far, finished runner-up in last year’s PLAYERS Championship, tamed Oakmont Country Club earning the U.S. Open victory and serving as a member of the U.S. Ryder Cup team this past September. He will be making his eighth start at the Valero Texas Open this April.
Rose, who returns for his second straight year and fourth appearance overall, had his best VTO finish in 2006 when he placed T2. The 2018 FedExCup champion and 12-time TOUR winner, including the 2013 U.S. Open, finished runner-up at last year’s Masters after competing here, losing a playoff to Rory McIlroy.
Morikawa is a six-time PGA TOUR winner, including the 2020 PGA Championship and the 2021 Open Championship. This will be Morikawa’s second appearance at the Valero Texas Open since 2024.
Defending champion Harman has competed in the Valero Texas Open eight times and has recorded five top 25s so far. The Open Championship winner in 2023, has four career TOUR wins and finished T36 in the Masters Tournament after winning here last year.
PGA TOUR players have until Friday, March 27 at 4:00 p.m. Central Time to commit and can withdraw at any time.
