The Creamery District is the premier destination for friends to gather, and during this holiday season, those celebrations will also support local causes. Embracing the spirit of generosity, The Creamery District venues are dedicated to showcasing local nonprofits to increase visibility, highlight their purpose, and reinforce their fundraising efforts from proceeds of holiday cocktails, menu items, and special events. The Valero Texas Open and Champions fore Charity is one of the seven local charities benefiting from The Creamery District's "Holiday with a Purpose".
Now through December 31, you can enjoy Hot Buttered Rum & Boozy Hot Chocolate in The Creamery District's, Lunatique Rooftop Garden. During the holidays, Lunatique is transformed into a fun, wintry spot to cozy up with firepits, blankets, and a thermos of warm, boozy refreshments! All proceeds from these two (2) specialty cocktails and thermoses will benefit the Valero Texas Open and Champions fore Charity.
Join us TONIGHT (Thursday, December 5) for Happy Hour at the Lunatique Rooftop Garden. Purchase our specialty cocktails (Hot Buttered Rum & Boozy Hot Chocolate) and be entered to win two (2) Honorary Observer spots at the 2025 Valero Texas Open! Valero Texas Open representatives will be onsite from 5:00 - 7:00 pm with memorabilia, swag, volunteer registrations, and photo ops with the tournament trophy!
We look forward to seeing you tonight!
Lunatique Rooftop Garden and The Creamery District are located at 875 E. Ashby Place, near Hwy 281, Josephine St, N. St. Mary’s, and Brackenridge Golf Course. |

| Are You A Champion fore Charity? | |
| |
There are so many great causes, school programs and charitable services you can support this holiday season which will make a 107% difference. What better way to help a charity than through, Champions fore Charity, which provides nonprofit organizations with a unique and engaging way to solicit donations while keeping 100% of the funds raised plus incentives, including a 7% matching gift opportunity provided by the Valero Texas Open.
Individuals and corporations from everywhere around the world are encouraged to participate while knowing contributions are tax deductible and are maximized through the financial incentives the Valero Texas Open provides 227 participating organizations from San Antonio, throughout Texas and well beyond.
Throughout the campaign season, participating organizations have a chance to earn additional incentives, like the "Drawing fore More Awareness". For every $500 worth of donations submitted, participating charities earn one (1) entry into the drawing. One random organization will be drawn and selected during a Facebook Live with one of our program Ambassadors. The winning charity will earn $2,500 and will also be featured in one dedicated social media post on the Champions fore Charity Facebook page. There are six (6) drawings throughout the campaign season. The first drawing took place by Randy Carroll (KJ97) recently, in which Down Syndrome Association of San Antonio won. The second deadline is this coming Monday, December 9.
Program Ambassador, David Chancellor with WOAI News 4 hosts a weekly segment on the morning news called "Sock It To Mondays". David is partnering with Champions fore Charity to feature two (2) charities each month on the first and third Mondays from November - May during the campaign season.
To date, two charities have been featured: Ascension DePaul Services on November 18 and San Antonio Legal Services Association (SALSA) on December 2. Check out their socks and stories!
Please tune in Monday morning on December 16 as David showcases Catholic Charities, features their custom socks, and highlights their mission.
We are thankful for our charities and donors. Donors are champions fore supporting charities. Charities are champions fore supporting our community. Registration is still open for prospective charities and schools looking for a no-cost, zero risk fundraising opportunity.

| We Cannot Spell Volunteer without U! | |
| |
Our volunteers play an important role in the tournament's charitable mission to raise funds and awareness for hundreds of worthy causes throughout San Antonio and the South Texas region by generously giving their time, talent, and energy to support our volunteer committees. During the week, you'll make new friends, get a behind-the-scenes look at a PGA TOUR event, and witness many of the world's top golfers as they compete right here in our backyard!
As a part of the Volunteer Program presented by Frost Bank, you will receive a logoed polo, grounds access, a parking pass, meals provided during your shifts, access to the volunteer party, and more! If you volunteer 18 hours, you can earn a complimentary round of golf, and those who volunteer 30 hours will receive two complimentary rounds of golf at TPC San Antonio after the tournament. Click here to learn more.
We're back with our second Volunteer Spotlight! This month, we're featuring the First Sergeant's Group, who are a part of the Admissions committee. They are grateful to bond together while helping the local community and enjoy serving with a smile. We welcome groups and companies to register and volunteer together. We thank James and the First Sergeant’s Group for volunteering!
