Corey Conners entered the final round trailing Si Woo Kim by one stroke before a 6-under 66 led to a two-stroke victory over Charley Hoffman. Conners is the first Monday Qualifier to win on the PGA TOUR since 2010.

The victory came in Conner’s 51st PGA TOUR start at the age of 27 years. He collected 500 points and moved No. 66 to No. 13 in the FedExCup standings. Conners is also the 15th Canadian to win on the PGA TOUR.

268 is the lowest winning score since the Valero Texas Open moved to TPC San Antonio in 2010 (previous-low was 271 by 2018 champion Andrew Landry). Led the field with 29 birdies, seven more than Kevin Streelman’s 22.

If not otherwise eligible, the champion receives a spot in the following 2018-19 season events (Masters Tournament, RBC Heritage, PGA Championship, Charles Schwab Challenge, the Memorial Tournament) and 2019-20 season events (Sentry Tournament of Champions, Desert Classic, Genesis Invitational, Arnold Palmer Invitational, THE PLAYERS Championship, RBC Heritage).

“It's been amazing, something that I've dreamt of. It's happened pretty quickly. Spent just one year on the Web.com Tour, got my Tour card through the Finals. Yeah, I had a lot of confidence in my game each step of the way and I've continued to get better and good things have continued to happen. It's an amazing feeling and really fortunate to be in this position and super excited to be able to call myself a winner.”
