First Round Interview with Jimmy Walker

Q. How were scoring conditions out there today?

JIMMY WALKER: Yeah, the wind was nice. It was kind of down but the greens still had a little bounce to them so you had to be careful with that. The golf course is in great shape. I didn't hit my irons very well, I think I only hit eight greens, so my score was pretty good for what I did. I really grinded.

Q. (Inaudible)

JIMMY WALKER: Yeah, it was good. I got a good break, I hit the cart path on 8 and I got it past kind of the trees and hit a bad 4-iron underneath the tree. I was on some hardpan dirt and hit a great pitch shot. No. 9, decent drive and then missed the green to the right and then hit another really good pitch, so the short game was pretty spot on today.
