We are looking for volunteering enthusiasts with a passion to help and together create a fantastic Valero Texas Open experience for PGA TOUR players, corporate sponsors and spectators alike. The success of the Valero Texas Open is due in part to over 1,700 volunteers who serve on approximately 30 committees.

This year we are kicking off the official volunteer registration on January 6 with the second annual Volunteer Registration Tee-Off event.

On Tuesday December 12, the Valero Texas Open concluded its fourth annual “12 Days of Giving”. Thank you to everyone who participated!

Participating organizations from Birdies for Charity received $10 for every Valero Texas Open ticket purchased online between Dec. 1-12. The Valero Texas Open matched up to an additional $500 per charity. This special campaign sold 358 tickets, supporting twenty-six various charities over the twelve days.

And a special congratulations to Morgan’s Wonderland for selling the most tickets! They are awarded a $2,500 bonus!! We know they will put the funds to good use! Congratulations!!

In total the “12 Days of Giving” campaign helped us raise more than $9,000 for incredibly worthy causes…now that is the true holiday spirit!

Don’t worry though, “12 Days of Giving” may be over but tickets for the 2018 Valero Texas Open are still available for purchase at ValeroTexasOpen.com and every ticket sold helps us in our ongoing mission to give back to our community and charities that do so much good.
